Talking Metal has posted photos from their Talking Metal on fuse jam with Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society) and Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (Guns N' Roses).

Needless to say, the scheduled two hour shoot turned into a thirteen hour extravaganza and got pretty crazy! The result was the amazing new original song, "Till the End."

Talking Metal co-host John Ostronomy was honored to have been asked by Glenn Hughes to join him, Paul Stanley, Bruce Kulick, and the Late Show Horns to perform the KISS classic "Detroit Rock City" with Fantasy Camp band Kaiser Soze during their performance at the B.B. King Blues Bar and Grill in New York City.

GUNS N' ROSES GUITARIST BUMBLEFOOT PERFORMS WITH ALLEN TOUSSAINT AT THE EDGE'S MUSIC RISING "ICONS OF MUSIC" AUCTION IN NEW YORK CITY

TalkingMetal.com reports that the April 21, 2007 Music Rising "Icons of Music" auction in New York City, which raised 2.4 million dollars for musicians who lost equipment in Hurricane Katrina, concluded with a performance by New Orleans R&B legend, Allen Toussaint, and Guns N' Roses guitarist, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal.

The stand-out piece of memorabilia in the auction was Jimi Hendrix's 1966 Red Fender Mustang, which sold for $410,000. Other notable items were Music Rising co-founder, The Edge's 1975 Cream Gibson Les Paul Custom, a Gibson Music Rising Les Paul signed by the Rolling Stones, and Emeril Lagasse's signed green Baldwin R1 Artists Grand piano.

Additional event participants and attendees included U2's The Edge and Adam Clayton, model Christy Turlington, "Little Steven" Van Zandt of The Sopranos and the E-Street Band, former Viacom CEO Tom Freston, XM and Q104.3 FM DJ Eddie Trunk, Bald Freak Music CEO Q*Ball, Talking Metal podcast hosts Mark Strigl and John Ostronomy,and actress Gina Gershon.

Ian and Bello are pictured with cast member, Tricia Helfer, this month's Playboy magazine covergirl, as well as cast members James Callis and Jamie Bamber.

New episodes of Battlestar Galactica return to the Sci Fi Channel on Sunday, January 20 at 10:00 PM.

Talking Metal's John Ostronomy arranged for members of Guns N' Roses to autograph a Gibson Epiphone Les Paul guitar during their three show stint at the Gibson Ampitheatre in Universal City, California.

The guitar was on display at the Gibson booth and given away on the final night of Guns N' Roses' 2006 tour.

DIMEBAG DARRELL ART TRIBUTE AT OZZFEST 2006

TalkingMetal.com visited the traveling exhibit, "Six-String Masterpieces The Dimebag Darrell Art Tribute," at Ozzfest 2006 on Randall's Island in New York City.

The exhibit, produced and curated by Curse Mackey, is a collection of over 40 Dean ML guitars that have been hand-painted, illustrated, and sculpted by top musicians and artists including Zakk Wylde, James Hetfield, Kerry King, Ted Nugent, and Joe Satriani.

ANTHRAX MEMBERS VISIT SET OF BATTLESTAR GALACTICA

Anthrax members, Scott Ian and Frankie Bello, as well as Anthrax webmaster, Brent Thompson, visited the set of their favorite television show, Battlestar Galactica, in Vancouver, British Columbia on Thursday, August 3rd. During their stop, the group met up with numerous stars of the Sci Fi Channel's hit television series including Katee Sackhoff, Jamie Bamber, Tricia Helfer, and Kandyse McClure.
